Kentaro Chiba has had two different desires in his art since the start of his artist career.
The first one is very detailed expression and the other one is expansion of scale.
Here, ‘Life Scroll Wall Paper’ will be a compound of these contradict desires.
Chiba fixes narrow mirrors both on the ceiling and the floor, to show vertical infinity mirror images@and utilizing the quality of Wallpaper as a pattern, extend its width horizontally putting several sheets on the wall.
Life Scroll As Long Cliff Animation with Pulflich Effect March 17th 2025
Kentaro Chiba made eLife Scrollf scrolling animation three demential by employing ethe Pulfrich effectf in 2024. Viewers with one eye sunglass will get the sense of depth by the parallax.@But the images are distorted in vertical and gigantic more than the original eLife Scrollf. The vision looks like as if the high and long cliff were seen from the bottom in three point perspective. The Pulfrich effect (also known as the Pulfrich phenomenon) is a neuro-ophthalmic observation in which two-dimensional (2-D) objects are perceived to be three-dimensional (3-D) due to slight discrepancies in signal transmission time between a set of eyes and the visual cortex.
